Koufax(7-1) dominated Philadelphia hitters.  He didn't allow much, just 1 hit
and 1 walk in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 2.81 to 2.53.  Los Angeles
totaled 8 hits on the afternoon.  
 
The loss was charged to Dennis Bennett(3-1).  'He came out with good stuff,'
Walt Alston said about Koufax. 'He threw the ball good from the first pitch
on.'
