1962 AL Game Story: Min. @ Clev. Pascual Wins 20th

 September 25, 1962

 Minnesota Twin's pitcher Camilo Pascual finally won his 20th game of the season today, shutting out the Cleveland Indians 8-0. It was a long time coming for Pascual who had 17 Wins as of July 27th. Injuries and a string of rough outings kept him from getting the 20th Win for almost 2 months. He joins NY's Ralph Terry (21) as the only 20 game winners in the AL this year. The Twin's Harmon Killebrew hit his 49th Home Run of the season in the victory. Killebrew and LA's Leon Wagner are tied for the AL HR Crown.

Camilo Pascual pitched 9 strong innings as the Minnesota Twins defeated the
Cleveland Indians by a score of 8 to 0 at Municipal Stadium.
 
Harmon Killebrew enjoyed a fine evening at the plate.  He ripped a base-knock
which scored a run in the 1st inning, doubled in the 6th inning and lofted a
three-run 'big-fly' in the 9th inning.  Minnesota had 10 hits for the night.
 
For Pascual(20-8) it was his 2nd shutout this year. Pedro Ramos(9-12) suffered
the loss.  He surrendered 5 runs and 7 hits in 6 innings.
