Pittsburgh was unable to claim the lead after Cincinnati went ahead in the top

their rally came up short.
The win was credited to O'Toole(15-11) who went the whole way allowing 1 run.
Earl Francis(8-10) suffered the loss. 'When O'Toole is on like that it is a
tough game to play, no doubt about it,' Danny Murtaugh said. 'He always
pitches well against us.'
